Yakima Bait Company’s Flat Fish is one of those classic Salmon plugs that are popular in rivers all across the West Coast. This plug is the perfect size for Chinook, Coho and Chum Salmon at 4-1/4”. It tracks well in slow to medium currents and can be fished on anchor, back-trolled or trolling in lower rivers and tidal areas. Many guides will wrap a chunk of Sardine fillet on the underside belly of the plug to slow down the action and create a scent trail.
